This used to be a good club once, but since then, the dykes took over and saturdays are off limits to any man with cash to offer the guy at the gate. Sundays are retarded in that you get half the show you get at Charlies, but well drinks are only 2 bucks until about 12 or 12:30 I think. The show host herself, Channel I believe, is a failure who flubbed in Ru Paul's televised drag competition. She threw a fit and won nothing by it the next evening. I feel her though; she's still one of the best, if not the best, shemale entertainer in the neighborhood next to Ginger Grant if that tuna salad junkie can stay awake long enough to do her work right. Try it but go elsewhere if you should tire quickly is the final analysis. Try Charlies instead or go next store, to 8 1/2, to see what the Mexicans are about that evening. It's probably not as good as the two joints I've just mentioned. Amen.

It used to be that I could hardly wait to get to Gipsy when I went to Vegas. This time, as always, I wanted to head right over there upon arriving into town. It was my boyfriend's first time in Vegas and he was excited to see this place that I had talked so much about. We first visited on Saturday and there were just a few people in the whole bar, and it smelled terrible! We came back on Sunday to catch the drag show. Unfortunately, we had another show and were late so we only saw a few performances. What we saw of the show was good. The bar, however, was not enjoyable. It seemed dirty, was realy full of smoke, and the people were not friendly at all. Nothing like it used to be. It was mostly kids, and no one was welcoming or friendly to us at all. Sad to see that what was such a great place has changed so much!

Every out of towner will find every other out of towner and some locals at Gipsy's on any given night...the parties start late and there is often a beer bust starting at 1am...true to Vegas style..the party goes all night long!!!! What happens in Gipsy's stays in Gipsy's!!!

Not bad. Crowd was friendly, drinks ok. Went on Sunday and there were the same hot bartenders as at Piranha on Saturday night, and it was pretty busy. Probably the best of the 4 places I went that weekend.

Gypsy is my favorite gay bar in Vegas. Everyone is so friendly--from the bartenders to the patrons. The go-go boys are hot too. After 2am when the go-go boys leave, you can get on their boxes and dance, shirtless if you are hot :D This is a great hook-up place too.

We visited Gipsy on May 13th while on vacation, and we both had a great time!! The staff was very friedly and made us feel like we were at home at are own neighborhood bar.We even met a couple people from our area in Northwest Illinois (crazy, huh!)I'd recomend Gipsy to everyone, and plan to come back next time we're in town!!!

We went here two weekend nights after midnite and found an empty bar. There was no cover charge here but next door 50 people were lined up to pay $20 to get into Piranha and 8 1/2. We came, we saw, we left. Must get busier at different times because it would not be here if there was always only 3 patrons. But on the positive side of things it is across the street from 4 other bars on the fruit loop so your cab fare isn't wasted.

Went there before we walked next door to 8 1/2. The one bright spot was the bartender from Bulgaria. Pretty hot. Definitely friendly. Seemed to us that being NBA all star weekend this place would be hopping...NOT!!!, nice set up, great setting just no folks in the joint at almost 11p, Perhaps we went to early. After heading nextdoor to 8 1/2 we did not return.

I just want to say that when I had gone here on Sept 16th 2006 the Dolly Parton impersonator was INCREDABLE! She made my whole trip. I could have watched her perform for hours or even days! I could go on and on but I don't want to seem like a blubering star struck idiot. The show was great and it was really cool to see the performers do different looks and characters. I have dated female illusionists before (Miss Long Island, Miss Upstate NY and a few others who just always looked great but never competed) but their talent or others here in NY don't compare to you, Miss Dolly.
The music and the atmosphere where really nice here. I like a place that you can actually move from one end to another without having to push and shove.
I just want to say thank you again for your talent.

I used to enjoy Gipsy 3 years ago before KRAVE...but the vibe is not there anymore. The place is not as pack anymore. I think KRAVE stole lots of their customer. The only thing i would complain about the music is I wish they play more variety like throw in a little retro and more circuit house in the mix than just over play pop vocal remixes. It' gets old after awhile.

Very much stuck in the 80's. Music is definitely questionable, but everyone seems to have a good time!

There's nothing objectionable about this smallish club catering to a hodge podge of tourists, but nothing really right about it. Nonetheless its a consistent bet in Vegas, which may be the one city where straight people have a lot more fun options then the gays.

Loved the place before Krave opened up and still do. A much smaller bar than Krave, but friendlier guests and a great place to make a hookup if that is what you are looking for. Love the outside lounge during the summer and psychic on Sundays after the drag show.
So, what do you say?
