I have visited the Eagle LV many times over the years when I am in LV. I specially enjoyed the Fri & Weds underwear nights. But, I stopped by the Fri before Labor Day 2012 and found it to be very quiet. I had slipped on my favorite Calvins and was disappointed at the lack of guys in underwear. Actually the dozen or so guys there didn’t appear to even know it was underwear night. Apparently the Eagle crowd has moved on to other venues.

Worth a cab ride at peak times

Every city that has The Eagle knows the crowd being catered to. In this case, it's the same crowd that has gathered at Buffalo several miles West for much longer, though surely all those Vegas visitors can support two macho gay bars, right? Unlike Buffalo, there's more room (and rooms) here, indoor and out, with more parking than the oft-congested area Buffalo shares with three other gay clubs. Also unlike Buffalo, there's no chance of wanderers from nearby establishments, because there aren't any. That distance from the action combines with the no-nonsense masculine vibe to give this Vegas gay bar some of the best odds of actually meeting and talking to someone (and more...)

far from the center of action

trop and pecos is a heck of a long way from the strip for the average tourist. the eagle is in a strip mall which is not the most appealing or secure feeling spot late at nite. its funky and not for the dance club set but its full of manly men and quite a few hot guys who arent afraid to look act and smell like men. so if that turns you off you can always hit the gypsy.

Karoake in a half a bar

Okay - apparently the bar was recently sliced in half to make way for a lesbian bar next door. The night I was there, (which, yeah, was like a Thursday, but still) there were maybe four guys in there at any given time, and then we have karaoke!! Um - yeah. Not sexy. I had more fun when I'd wander over to the lesbian side, where the two lady bartenders and three young, fem gay guys were playing beer pong because there was nothing better to do. :)

So the cabbie, tryin to be of assistance to a 30 y/o young nubile pre-bi-gay, suggested I try the eagle. Upon arrival something seemed odd when the bouncers looked like retirement home ex-bikers. Oh well, I'm here now I thought. So I go into what I would assume one could call a bar. there were people walking around in underwear and jock straps. I didn't know what in the "h-e- double hockey sticks" I had walked into. Anyway, the place was a hell-hole to say the least. I so go to the "club" section amd its like a heat wave of humidity and funk hit me emminating from all the people packed in here together.I did notice more attractive people here but I wouldn't say this is your high caliber gay spot. This is full of locals that are not in the vegas industry. Music seemed good. Things get raunchy here though. The "eagle" landed and was ready to get da "f@?+" outta dis place.

Wednesday Nights are Great

We went for underwear night on Wednesday night and had an awesome time! We got there early, but there were still people there having fun. If you're willing to take off your pants and go around in your underwear, the drinks are free! Was kinda shy at first, but after the first drink, you're having a blast! By the time we left the place was packed! Lots of fun! Give it a try!

Great local place

We drank for free for hours just because we took our pants of and wore our ubderwear. They bought us shots after the shirts came off. Had fun, very local and nice.

If you're a tourist....

If you're a tourist and looking for somewhere of ambience give this a miss. Friendly bar staff but thats it. Far from a leather crowd - it was a leather lad and his fella. Heavy rock music, balloons, paper chains and gaming machines on the bar - and all this for a location 20mins of the main LV Strip! We had one beer and left.

Local cruise spot on Wednesdays

Great well drinks at cheap prices, laid back, the only place in Vegas if your looking for the bad-boy latinos. The DJ there could take some tips from the LA club scene. But in truth the Eagle 10 years ago was much more fun when you could go around fondling guys in their jockstraps or boxers, and when the back door to the alley was open. Oh yea, on Wednesday the 2nd bar is open. And they could also improve the place by moving the pool table to where it was before.

Was here on 2 weeknights, a Wednesday for underwear night and a Thursday night, and Wednesday was definetly better. Had lots of hot guys, with no pretense. Drinks were great, and fun bartenders.

Wednesday Night's Left-Overs

Been there a few times on Wed night. Seems like a lot of guys that didn't get laid over the week-end are out wearing underwear hoping someone one will tell them they are good looking. A lot of bars have underwear night but it's always the men you don't want to see in underwear that strip down. Fri & Sat nights are the times to be there but it's NOT an Eagle, it's a Levi bar with great dance floors.

it's intimidating at first, then you realize that the bardenders (Snoogan) are sweet. Underwear night is fun; leave you morals at home. Reminds me of old vegas.

The Eagle is the best place to party in Vegas on Wednesdays. Friday is good, too. Pinball, pool and dancing... Not to mention the poker machines are good, too.

a great place to go late after midnight on wed under wear night a lot of hot men and boys the party goes well into the night till at least 4 or 5 a.m/ the bar use to be a bit dumpy however they have cleaned it up some what and its a fun dive

Felt like a leper the only time I went in. Undie night brought me out in my finery. People stare and gawk but no one willing to talk - too many uptight little boys walking around smoking and being the perfect femme! Awful experience and too damn far off the strip, too! Save the attitude and go to a sale at the Gap!
