***** Friendly Place
Posted: March 03, 2010
The Bartenders are good and smart and will get you buzzed. If you like to spend money in the jukebox, there are nice selections. There were only a few people there when I went on a Wednesday night, they were friendly tourists and made conversation, and the bartender made sure we had a good time. When I walked out the door, I didn't have a dime left and don't remember spending it, but I got my money's worth. If that place was busy it would probably be a blast.

With all the great places in LV, this place is not to miss. A local hangout that welcomes everybody. It's TG friendly and I certainly felt right at home there.

This bar was fantastic and fun. The staff was awesome and made me, my mom and my sister feel right at home. It was my sister's first time to a gay bar (she's straight) and I'm glad they were warm, welcoming, entertaining and very reasonably priced. Thank you Barry and Freddie! You guys are awesome!

***** Social Bar

Snick's is a great place to socialize with 30 and older and get a cheap drink. Happy hours are almost 12 hours a day plus they have specials through out the week. This is the place to find out where and what is going on in town. They have the best bartenders in the gay community. (Check out the one on Tues night.) It's the place I go every time I'm in town.

***** First Time In Vegas

Just returned from a weeks stay in Vegas and must say how much I enjoyed the company in this friendly bar. The barman Nick is so pleasant and attentive, and makes you feel very welcome. Anyone going to Vegas should check out this place

***** Snick's Is Tops!!
Posted: February 03, 2008
I moved to Vegas in 1996, Snick's was one of the first Bars I went to. I immediatly felt like I was home. Ralph, Dominick, Rob, Nick, and John were the best Bar Crew I have ever met. In '98 Big Al Left and Dominick gave me a shot at Bartending. I worked the Graveyard Shift Tu-Fr and I still think it's the best Job I ever Had!I left Vegas in '99, but I still go back every year or two to celebrate My Birthday, which happens to be the Day before Ralph's. Snick's is full of real people and Dominick and his Bartenders make you feel safe as well as make sure you are having fun. I Love this Bar, It's Tops with Me!

Snick's place was a great place to go. It was right across the street from the Howard Johnson's my boyfriend and I stayed. I am 42 and he is 32 so we find it difficult to find a bar we are both happy with occassionally. I prefer the more mature crowd but he tends to be the chicken in the group and does not appreciate the attention very much. I always feel like a grandpa when I go to stand and model bars with him. Snick's offered us a place to relax and enjoy each other's company many a night and afternoon. We had a great time. I strongly recommend a visit to Snick's

***** I remember Snick R.I.P.
Posted: December 24, 2006
There's only one Snick's, I remember one night sitting in the bar at about 4:oo am , A squad of cop's came bursting in the front door looking for a guy that shot somebody around the corner, the regular's didn't blink an eye, If you cant pick up a date in there go home and hang yourself, fun bar with down to earth clietel, friendly bar tender's, good drink's, Dominic was the manager back in the 90's a really nice guy, I've moved out of LV sort of lost touch, but in my opinion Snick's is the best bar on the West coast, Julius is the best on the East Coast ( 159 west 10th street ) in NYC. well enjoy. ***** An historic bar and still a lot of fun!
Posted: September 09, 2006
Open since 1976, making it the oldest gay bar in Vegas, Snick's Place has always provided a great low-key environment and some great times(not to mention the BEST bartenders in town). Clientele is all over the board(especially at night), and drinks are the cheapest in town. Do check it out! Doors are locked after midnite, so use the buzzer;)

You never know what will happen or when. I used to live in Vegas and I loved the neighborhood bar feel of the place. Alot of regulars and tourist go to Snick's. The machine are not as tight as the strip I always did well playing at the bar.

Walked in and felt like I was a slab of meat in a lion cage. Ordered a drink, drank it, and left. The place is small and feels like a scary mob bar that you would see in a movie... I felt like I was going to be attacked at any moment.
