Alan Eister (aka The A-Brain) is a chemist and a poet (because no, they are not as separate as some chemists like to believe). Born and raised in Vegas, he knows the heart of this city quite well, though sometimes the city surprises him. His poetry touches on this city and his science, hoping to inspire some sentiment of hope for the now and the future of this city. Who knows with scientific poetry; you could be surprised.
When Rachel Dexter was in the sixth grade her best friend gave her a book of collected poems from the 1940's. Ever since then she has been burning through pencils at an alarming rate, and trying to fill gaps in understanding with words and with a desire to improve and connect without walls. She studied Theater at San Diego State University and she feels the only two things she ever really needs to accomplish in life are to work as a singer in Las Vegas, and to be a published poet.
