you dont have to be paris hilton to enjoy this place. the palms has cultivated a supercool rep among the LA crowd and those tourists who want a glimpse of the kardashians or whoever. its comfy enough for average new york or cali joe but cool enough to keep the grannies and wisconsin pork bellies away.

If you are a young fish looking for a straight-style spot, you'll probably get along with this place. The rooms are super-cool and stylish, the crowd is always young and well-dressed. The pool is always a party of Jersey shore guidos and Los Angeles hot douchebags. If you like this sort of thing, I say go for it. I had a great stay, the food is reasonable ($20.00 buffet - C+), and the crowd will keep you motivated.
