I never have had a bad stay. You can buy 3 meal passes at the buffet saving you a lot of money, you can also buy the buffet special for your entire stay. The beach is very nice, bring lots of spray sun tan lotion. Check out the lobby of The Hotel, very minimalistic and interesting. "Large" means that there is a long walk to get from one place to another on the property. The rooms are large and luxurious, and the hotel itself is beautiful. For some reason, there are always a bunch of hot guys at the pool, which is a huge plus! One slight negative is Mandalay Bay's location so far south on The Strip.
