it's ok

First off this place is hard to find. Not at the Planet Hollywood or at the downtown location anymore. It's on the backside of the strip center across from the Monte Carlo in a converted theater. The venue is ok but the dj was playing top 40 on repeat. Stay three hours and you will hear wreckingball six times! Cover was $20 which seems steep considering the total experience. Drinks were about $13 which feels normal for the strip. The staff was hot and had some dancers for entertainment. It's ok if you're looking to get out and you are staying close in the strip.

Krave is reopening on the Strip!

I never had a horrible experience at Krave and miss it. I'm excited to hear it is returning to the Las Vegas Strip.

100% Absolutely Worst Place Ever - Don't Waste Your Time

After doing some research I head down to the Fremont Street area to find the two gay bars located there - Krave & Drink/Drag. Both are evidently owned or operated by the same group as they claim to be so much and yet are absolutely NOTHING! Worst admission experience at any bar in all of North America (and Yes, I have traveled to all the major cities). At both location, I was told that I had to pay a penalty admission fee for "not being local". WTF? Where I am from, we roll out the red carpet for visitor and do our best to make them feel at home! Krave actually charged a $20 cover at 1:00 AM ($10 if you were local). When I got in, a Jack and Coke was $11 (Again, WTF!) The facility is nothing more than a "out of business" multi-plex movie theater with the old concession stand serving as the make-shift bar and one of the large screen auditoriums with the seats removed served as a make-shift dance floor. Cheap lighting, sticky floors, and bad DJ music along with a handful of people for a Saturday night at 1:00 AM did not make for an exciting time. A good business operator would know that you build business by offering free admission via some marketing tools like Facebook, etc... and geez... offer some decent drink prices. A Jack and Coke should only be $5, maybe $6... but never $11. And did I mention that my $11 drink came in a Solo Plastic cup... LOL!!!
