Snick's place was a great place to go. It was right across the street from the Howard Johnson's my boyfriend and I stayed. I am 42 and he is 32 so we find it difficult to find a bar we are both happy with occassionally. I prefer the more mature crowd but he tends to be the chicken in the group and does not appreciate the attention very much. I always feel like a grandpa when I go to stand and model bars with him. Snick's offered us a place to relax and enjoy each other's company many a night and afternoon. We had a great time. I strongly recommend a visit to Snick's
New to Las Vegas
My 1st Bar I visit in Las Vegas when I move here,The bartenders are great and wonderful. They make you feel like you been coming there for ever.Nick and Barry are great guys and bartenders.Great place to go.
I remember Snick R.I.P.
There's only one Snick's, I remember one night sitting in the bar at about 4:oo am , A squad of cop's came bursting in the front door looking for a guy that shot somebody around the corner, the regular's didn't blink an eye, If you cant pick up a date in there go home and hang yourself, fun bar with down to earth clietel, friendly bar tender's, good drink's, Dominic was the manager back in the 90's a really nice guy, I've moved out of LV sort of lost touch, but in my opinion Snick's is the best bar on the West coast, Julius is the best on the East Coast ( 159 west 10th street ) in NYC. well enjoy. Bill
An historic bar and still a lot of fun!
Open since 1976, making it the oldest gay bar in Vegas, Snick's Place has always provided a great low-key environment and some great times(not to mention the BEST bartenders in town). Clientele is all over the board(especially at night), and drinks are the cheapest in town. Do check it out! Doors are locked after midnite, so use the buzzer;)
