this place is awesome !
I love the stratosphere , well I guess I like it so much mainly because its the nearest casino in my area. There's lots of stuff to do on there , I mostly just do sports book in there , I go elsewhere for blackjack. The stratosphere has a excellent shopping plaza on the second flood with lots of restaurants and neat shops , I go up there all the time. I definitely recommend the stratosphere
trailer park tower
the central spot for rednecks and other bakersfield and fresno types when they head to vegas. its cheesy and tacky like the excalibur without the glitz. the tower is one of the tallest buildings in the west but if you go up theres nothing much to see except for the tops of old buildings and vacant parking lots. the police used to run prostitution stings out of stratosphere rooms so if you choose to dabble in the flesh trade dont respond to ads that invite to stratosphere. but if youre a kentucky boy at heart and like trailer park atmosphere dont hesitate to drop some quarters at this place.
What a dump
Full of white trash drunks. Rude staff. Pool was filthy. Hot tub full of trash. Too far from the action on the strip.
stayed here many times
This place is away from the crowds you will find in Central part of Las Vegas Blvd. (which is a blessing if you are driving If you do not have a car or a rental car, you have a long walk to Cesars Palace, Mirage, Bellagio, etc. However, if you do have transportation, you are close by (with 2 miles) of 3 gay bathhouses and a number of gay bars. If you want to visit the Casinos in downtown, you are only minutes away. One of the best things about the hotel is the tower. It can help you locate your hotel if you lose your sense of direction. Unlike the other reviewer I found the staff to be friendly and the rooms to be clean (I have stayed here 4 times). I think the hotel is one of the best deals in town. However, if you are looking for high priced decor and luxurious surroundings, you better go somewhere else.
worst stay in las vegas
have been several times in las vegas and want ot try different hotels, well stratosphere is definately the worst, staff unfriendly, rude and overall hotel lobby and rooms dirty, cleaning must be sometings happend sometimes only.....so faar away from everything.....believe me stay away.
