A Haven From the Crowds, Super Luxury
Now I'm spoiled. Can I ever go back to staying anywhere else after experiencing the Encore's decked-out suites (gotta love motorized drapes, bathroom TVs, a bedside privacy button, the black couch, and luxurious bedding), spectacular pools (drinks and lunch served poolside, yes!), opulent casino decor, the best show I've ever seen in Vegas ("Le Reve"), great shopping, five hopping nightclubs, and a score of award winning restaurants. What else could you want? How about a true commitment to the GLBT traveler? The Wynn/Encore continually wins equality awards, offers their employees domestic partnership benefits (the first casino property to do so), and even has a Pride Concierge on duty to serve the gay guests. One of my favs in Sin City, hands down.
Wynn is the place to stay in Las Vegas!
What a classy hotel! My husband and I attended a Jeunesse LEAD Conference in March 2016. The accomodations were pristine, restaurants varied and superb. It felt like a city within itself. One could almost forget there is a great big city out there to also see and enjoy. Very gay friendly with no exceptions.
Sad to leave
Husband and I stayed at Encore just as a get away. This was our fifth trip to Vegas, and usually stays at Four Seasons, which is at other end. Man have we been missing out! Encore was a fantastic hotel, with gorgeous rooms. We never really had to leave to hotel for anything. We did find ourselves spending more time in Wynn than Encore though for some reason. Used the spa, saloon, and fitness centers, all of which were very nice and comfortable. Every employee knew answers to questions, which I threw out there just as a test sometimes, and they greeted you throughout the hotel. There were lots of other gay couples/individuals around as well, which was nice to see opposed to the clientele at Four Seasons. We cannot wait to stay here again!
super chic
i felt bad when they got rid of the famed desert inn. a true landmark with style. but steve winn is the new howard hughes in town. if you crave luxury and excess then go here.
